8/26/19 - Cloudcroft, NM

Jim and I visited the Sunspot Astronomy and Visitor Center about 18 miles south of Cloudcroft in the Sacramento Mountains.  This is a solar observatory operated by New Mexico State University.  Then we drove to the Old Apple Barn just west of Cloudcroft.  This place is an old school Five and Dime store.  We went to Daves for a beer, then went to Cloudcroft Brewing for a pizza.  We walked around camp and had a fire at night.
